Walmart’s Compaq Presario NoteBook

Walmart will begin selling a $298 Compaq Presario notebook (CQ60-419WM) with the following specifications: a 15.6-inch display, 3GB of memory, a 160GB hard-disk drive, a CD-DVD drive, and Windows Vista pre-loaded. The laptop will use a 2.10 GHz AMD Sempron SI-42 processor and Nvidia GeForce 8200M graphics. For a laptop like this $300 is really just chump change. This type of reasonably priced product will give people that may not other wise have the money to buy a computer, a chance to buy one. This computer is exactly what teenagers will benefit from to help with school work also.
The demand for these computers will be very high, so expect that they will sell out fast. If you are looking for a basic computer that will get you online and can do most of what people do now days, which involves music, surfing the internet, and photo sharing this laptop will really be within reach.
